Myron Walden Countryfied features original compositions inspired by what could be broadly described as roots music of the South.  The music is imbued by the blues, rock and roll, country, soul and the feeling of southern church fused together to form a singular sound.  The slower numbers are thick with a sultry feeling while the tempo-ed numbers have been called "rambunctious country blues and gospel-tinged suites".
